Yago lost his Wii privileges today.

Here’s the scene:

6:20 am.   Yago gets out of bed and these are the first words out of his mouth

“Mom, is today a school day?”

Yago is not allowed to play Wii on school day mornings

“No, Yags.  You’re still on break, but you can’t play Wii until after breakfast.”

“But I already had my chocolate milk  (the milk was the fridge leftover from last night and he had helped himself ) Can I just have three bites?”

“Ok. Yags.  That’s fine.”

5 minutes later…

“I’m done!  Can I play now?”

“Ok…please set the timer to 40 minutes.  4-0.”

“Is this right?”

“Yes”

Approximately 20 minutes later…

“Hey, Yago…why does the timer read 45?”

BUSTED!!!!

(He honestly thought that I wouldn’t notice.  Little Stinker. Once the drama ceased, he and Daryoosh sat down and built the tracks and played with the train set for about 30 minutes until time to leave the house. )

For those of you who think I’m a tyrant (I’m looking at you, grandma and abuela), we are going to try a week-end only plan if he can earn back the Wii by this weekend.

Reflection...life is sometimes out of focus.

I love the marble floor at my parents’ house.  It always makes for interesting pictures when I want to capture reflections.  This picture was the result of an e-course assignment from my Unravelling course.  I manipulated the settings and set the timer and hoped for the best!
