Shab!!!!! Why don’t you tell me that you work for National Geographic????
Your pictures are amazing!!!!!!
The owl is my favorite by far! Awesome job…also, I have been sharing them with Jay. He now wants your lens…
Thanks Steph! The owl saw a little bit of touch-up with photoshop. I was able to increase the detail a bit in the feathers. Also, in my haste, I messed up on the tiger…I guess I missed a few spots in the background. I was trying to get the background almost to black & white so the tiger would stand out. I need to work on that one a little more.
Which lens? The one I used for these pictures was a 70-300mm with no VR. My preference is usually the 50mm prime (that was originally for a regular film SLR! I’m lucky it even has autofocus, although I usually use manual!) I got both lenses on ebay, by the way.
Really cool photos! They do look like they belong in a magazine. The Panda is my favorite (from your 365 project)because I already “love” those little guys.
